In the spring term we will be exploring WATERCOLOUR TECHNIQUES, and ABSTRACT WATERCOLOUR, covering a range of themes and approaches.
Techniques will include bleeds and blooms, coloured inks, powdered pigment, surgical spirit, salt, scratching, spraying out, cling film, fine liners, and experimental mark making. The goal is to have fun in a small and supportive group, whilst building your familiarity and confidence with watercolour.
This eight week watercolour course is designed to be suitable for those who are beginners as well as working well as a follow on course for those who have attended previous courses.

Includes materials (including your own paint set to borrow, a sketchbook, and materials during classes).
Ideas and support with homework provided.
Each week a summary is provided via e-mail of what was covered to serve as a prompt, and to help you if you have to miss any sessions.
