Whether a complete beginner or intermediate painter these three hour classes will give you the time you need to grow in confidence and nurture your creativity. 
 
With expert tuition, a gentle approach and a supportive small group, it is a wonderful way to develop your watercolour skills.
 
NB Paying this DEPOSIT secures your place on the course. The remaining  £95 is payable a month prior to the course starting.
 
This 4 week course will equip you with the skills needed to paint a range of simple botanical themed watercolour paintings. As the weeks progress you will be taught to apply a range of different approaches and techniques to your work, whilst growing your confidence and enjoyment in the process.
 
If you have done some of the themes before in some of the one-off workshops, don't worry - I will offer variations of extension tasks to work to your level of confidence and experience.
 
What will I learn?
 
Themes will include a range of approaches to painting flowers and leaves.
You will grow in confidence in your ability to select and apply a range of techniques to your painting practice.
Each week you will be guided through a different botanical subject, and with step by step tuition you will be taught a range of techniques to apply.
You will learn through; demonstrations, looking at a range of inspiration and examples, practicing the technique with guidance, and applying it to different subjects and uses.
 
What is included in the price:
 
All essential materials will be included, and you will be allocated a set of paints which you can borrow for the duration of the course to practice at home.
A simple A4 sketchbook is provided which will be used to collate what you have created and learnt during the course. It will be a useful guide for future reference.
 
How will it differ from the usual workshops?
 
You will build up more of a thread of a direction in your personal practice as we progress through the weeks than through coming to the one off workshops.
You will be able to be inspired by joining others on their creative journey and learning from eachother.
You won’t come away with a framed painting or cards each time, but you will leave with a sketchbook with a selection of samples of techniques from each week (which you can look back on for future reference).
 
NB: There is no need to being anything to the first session, everything you need will be provided.
