This eight week watercolour course is suitable for those who are beginners as well as working nicely as a follow on course for those who have attended 'Abstract Landscapes'.

Includes materials (including your own paint set to borrow, and a sketchbook, and materials during classes).
Ideas and support with homework provided.
Each week a summary is sent of what we covered to serve as a prompt, and to help you if you have to miss any sessions.
We will be using photos and artworks as our inspiration from which to work, using a range of different techniques and approaches in our painting. We will have a go working at different scales, from thumbnails sketches to A4 sized paintings. Students will gradually build their ability to use the image as their starting point, learn how to simplify it, select techniques, and make it their own.
NB: There is no need to being anything to the first session, everything you need will be provided.

I am not able to offer refunds for any workshops.
Occasionally if the cancellation is made with plenty of notice, I am able to transfer the booking to a future event, however this can not be guaranteed. Please double check your calendars prior to making a booking.
The workshops are intended to be a warm, welcoming, and accepting environment within which people are able to relax and enjoy being creative. In the unlikely event that a person's behaviour is upsetting or innapropriate they may be asked to leave the session before it has ended, or prevented from attending further workshops.
